Social Media is truly a game-changer. Growing up, both of my parents were small business owners and the money, time and effort they put into advertising in our small town alone is enough to make my nerves twitch. Fast-forward to 2017 and we can promote literally anything online at any time to mass amount of people and while this may not always be a positive thing (with great power comes responsibility) it is truly remarkable that I can sit in my apartment in Ottawa and have my product promo reach someone in China almost instantaneously.
